Welcome to the Loyal Royals
Join me on an experiment in fandom. I started out as an independent “content creator” (tho I truly loathe that term) before smart phones and social media. I navigated the evolving landscape of hockey fandom in Southern California and ultimately wound up as an employee of the LA Kings.
As of last summer I find myself back in the world of “independent content creation” but now armed with experience, contacts and information.
What this platform will be isn’t clear as I write this but I know what I’d like it to be. When I first started out in 2007 my guiding principle was always “what would I as a fan be interested in hearing/reading” and I hope that I have stayed true to that principle.
I hope that I can use my experience, access, knowledge and insight to bring better coverage to Kings fans about his team we all love and follow but I need your help to do that.
I’m sorry this isn’t more elequent or detailed but the reality is this will be a journey and I hope you’ll join me on it.
