TRAINING CAMP – DAY ONE
Training Camp is upon us. Here’s what we’ve seen so far on Day One….
Training Camp was divided into three groups for day one.
Based exclusively on the list made public by the LA Kings it appears that the “Top 3” lines from last season will remain intact at least to start camp.
Kuzmenko/Kopitar/Kempe
Fiala/Byfield/Laferriere
Foegele/Danault/Moore
With Turcotte and Armia being placed in Group 1 and Helenius in Group C the assumption from Team TRH is that the 4th line (at least to start camp) will feature Turcotte and Armia with a rotating cast of Group A members auditioning for the open spot left by the injury to Corey Perry.
On Defense, the pairs are a little harder to predict. Anderson and Doughty are both in Group C and so I would expect them to remain a pair. Clarke and Dumoulin are in Group B while Ceci and Edmundson are in Group A suggesting that at least for Day One the pairs will not be as speculated about for most of the summer.

There are 10 Forwards for each Group in the Scrimmage so getting a bead on specific lines is proving difficult. Also it’s the first day of camp so it’s all made up anyway.

UPDATE 11:40 AM
Angus Booth was helped off the ice after an incident at the end of scrimmage on the far side of the ice. I didn’t see what happened but he appeared to be unable to skate under his own power.
