TRAINING CAMP – DAY EIGHT
Here’s where to find all your updates for day eight of LA Kings Training Camp.
The Kings are 3-0 so far in preseason play having defeated the Ducks twice, once in Ontario and once last night in Anaheim. The team returns to El Segundo for two days of training camp before their next game Saturday night in Bakersfield against… you guessed it… the Anaheim Ducks.

UPDATE – GROUP A
Group A will be split into two sub-groups
The battle for the 12th, 13th (and possibly 14th) forward spot continues with Andre Lee presumably getting a chance to skate with Turcotte and Armia today while Thomas, Helenius and Malott will likely be paired together in the second group.
On defense the pairing of Edmundson and Clarke appears to be a more consistent pairing than any of the other options while Ceci and Dumoulin are both in the first sub-group. Joe Hicketts also is listed in the first sub-group and while he has a SPC and is eligible to play for the LA Kings his role as captain of the Ontario Reign and the veteran status of the other players in the groups suggests that he will likely be assigned to the Reign when the time comes but that’s just assumption and speculation.
