WORKING UP A SWEAT-ER

In this cynical day and age of being a professional #sports fan, Season Ticket Holders can feel like the giant corporate overlords that own and operate their favorite team don’t care about them at all.

Well, for one night, the Los Angeles Kings have taken care of their Season Ticket Holders. For the first batch of custom Season Ticket Member Sweaters have arrived.

And they are glorious.

As a gift for renewing their 2015-16 Season Tickets by the March 24th deadline, Season Ticket Members were given a personalized hockey sweater. According to an email from the LA Kings, this gift was created in response to fan feedback that suggested a wearable give-a-way specifically for Season Ticket Members.

Starting tonight at Staples Center, Season Ticket Members were allowed to pick up their sweater. And since I’m technically still a fan… I got mine. And I have to say… it’s kinda awesome.

The front of the sweater contains a Mike Ditka-era stripe with “EST 1967” embroidered along the bottom.

“Da Kings.”

On the back of the sweater, all of the major LA Kings logos since 1967 (miss you, Burger King) are represented.

And on the right sleeve, there is a “STM” to honor the Season Ticket Members.

Hmm… what is that next to the STM?
ENHANCE!

Why, it’s the San Jose Sharks worst nightmare!
