TRH RECAP 79: Kings Lack Finishing Ability

KINGS 1, CANUCKS 2 (SO)

So much ugh.

The LA Kings, once again, lost a third period lead and, once again, lost in the shootout.

Kings-Canucks 4.6.2015

Looks like it’s time to update this terrible, horrible, awful post.

Had the held on to their 1-0 lead, the Kings would have woken up today in third place in the Pacific Division and would be only one point behind the Vancouver Cancuks for second place, along with home-ice advantage in the first round.

But that didn’t happen. Instead, the Kings wake up today outside of the playoff picture.

Couldn’t have said it any better

Needless to say, the Kings misfortunes have made Canucks fans, as well as fans from all across the league, quite happy.

Ugh.

I no longer feel as bad about my night.

Yeah, this totally washes away those two Stanley Cup Championships.

I hate it, but that was a freakin’ beautiful play.

1. Eddie Lack

Oh great, Eddie Lack has become Vancouver’s White Knight.
