STATUESQUE: Coffee with Bob and Luc

Two of TeamTRH’s favorite things are coming together tonight: Luc Robitaille highlights and a new Coffee with Bob segment!

This is the definition of “Must See TV.”

With the unveiling of the new Luc Robitaille statue outside of Staples Center scheduled for Saturday, Fox Sports West’s Kings Weekly has decided to devote its entire half-hour to look back on his historic career.

While that already sounds amazing in of itself, the episode is essentially an opportunity to eavesdrop on Bob Miller and Luc Robitaille talking about 30+ years of LA Kings history, their favorite moments during that span, and just life in general.

*swoon*

If you haven’t seen a Coffee with Bob segment before, you’re missing out.

The previous incarnations of the segment have included sit down interviews with Darryl Sutter, Ben Scrivens and Jarret Stoll, wach of which provided unique insight into their lives.

Darryl Sutter drinking out of a Mason jar forever.

I appreciate them cutting out the part where I ran in confessing my love for Scrivens.

I can’t wait for Jarret Stoll Legends Night.

I seriously can watch those segments over and over again. …which I have, multiple times.

These segments are yet another reason why Bob Miller is the greatest. And Kings fans are lucky to have him in their lives. If you think otherwise, you’re wrong and you’re the worst.

Check out Coffee with Bob and Luc tonight after the Kings post-game show on Fox Sports West!
