It’s finally here. The season-long lead up for the game is over.
At 7 p.m., the LA Kings and San Jose Sharks will play outdoors at Levi’s Stadium.
And when the puck drops, the Kings will be playing their 58th game of the season.
Meanwhile, the Sharks will be playing the biggest game in franchise history.
I’m sure it will be an amazing spectacle and a thrill for the fans who are making the trek to Santa Clara, but this game is turning out to be as dumb as any other Sharks game.
McLellan confirms only lineup change for tonight is John Scott in, Chris Tierney out #SJSharks
— Kevin Kurz (@KKurzCSN) February 21, 2015
*deep breath*
TM: “Scott was a big factor in the game we played against LA last time. He played really good minutes, he played hard minutes.” #SJSharks
— Kevin Kurz (@KKurzCSN) February 21, 2015
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
The Sharks have been stumbling for a while. And there’s a real possibility that Head Coach Todd McLellan could be out of a job if the team doesn’t turn things around in the very near future.
So, naturally, McLellan puts one of the league’s worst players back in the lineup.
…and Sharks fans don’t seem happy about it…
@KKurzCSN WHAT IN THE FUCK
— Christina Elaine (@_christinaaaxox) February 21, 2015
@KKurzCSN Why.
— Hockey Jerk (@hockey_jerk) February 21, 2015
@KKurzCSN SJ had a huge win against Dallas, something they havent had for a while. And coach then tears apart that lineup. What the hell.

25% Corsi in that game RT @KKurzCSN TM: “Scott was a big factor in the game we played against LA last time. He played really good minutes"
— Fear The Fin (@fearthefin) February 21, 2015
@fearthefin @KKurzCSN he made a tremedious hit took LA off there game. Something Corsi doesn't show and something FTF despises
— Tomas Kane (@GoaliePuke) February 21, 2015
Sharks fans are the best.
But Kevin Kurz does not have time for any of your “logic” or reason.”
He has proof that John Scott is the answer for all of the Sharks woes.
#SJSharks are 14-16-4 when both Scott and Brown are out of the lineup. Just saying.
— Kevin Kurz (@KKurzCSN) February 21, 2015
@Cookthechef 14 wins and 20 losses is even? How about 5-1-0 when they both play?
— Kevin Kurz (@KKurzCSN) February 21, 2015
Well, there you have it.
John Scott is the best player in the world.
If only there was a way to tear down this argument…

That’ll do nicely.
Don’t listen to them, Kurz.
You know the truth: John Scott will lead the Sharks to the promised land.
