Things sure were looking bleak for the LA Kings after Game 1.
Many hockey analysts were ready to anoint the Chicago Blackhawks the Western Conference Champions and it was simply a matter of how long the series would take to play out.
And it’s hard to blame them. The Hawks were unbeaten at home heading into Game 2. Seeing as they had home ice advantage, you can see why getting four wins in this series would be in their favor.
Still, they had to actually, you know, play the games.
