As promised in our Royal Access Part Deux preview, we’re going to break down how the LA Kings season is likely careening off a cliff…

What’s that? The series is tied 2-2 you say?

Hmm… well then, let’s give the people what they really want: Awkwardly taken photos of the scene outside Staples Center before Game 4!

As mentioned before, our good friends at Can-Am Spyder apparently thought that it was a good idea to send Jesse Cohen and me to a playoff hockey game. This, of course, was after they sent us to the Stadium Series game between the Ducks and Kings back in January.

Side note: The Kings went 0-2 in these games.

But being at Staples Center was still an amazing experience that I’m sure would …oh god, so many jersey fouls…

imageThe rare two-line nameplate.image_1That poor kid in the Jack Johnson jersey somehow managed
to finish the game with a -7 rating.

image_3We have a Disco Dan sighting!
This may also be the only Dan Bylsma LA Kings jersey in existence.

Great trolling job by the guy in the Patrick Roy jersey.
I’m assuming the man in the Maple Leafs jersey just wanted to check out
what this “playoff hockey” thing he keeps hearing about actually entails.

image_5Poor LA Kings Ice Crew member Ashley really doesn’t
seem to want to subject to this awkward caricature drawing.

image_7“The home ice of the LA Kings” probably means that this was made at the Honda Center.

image_8How dare you wear a non-Gretzky Era Gretzky jersey, sir.

How dare you wear a non-Gretzky Era terrible counterfeit Gretzky jersey, sir.

And you thought the previous counterfeit was bad. Yikes.

I … I just don’t even know what to do here…

Saddest part is that this actually was Alex Steen.

image_15Good God is that an LA Kings juggalo?!
That very well may be the most offensive thing I’ve ever seen.

image_24I stand corrected.

Thanks again to Can-Am for making the day possible!

Be sure to test drive a Can-Am Spyder and learn more about its three-wheel stance and seven automotive technologies (find your local dealerships here). For more information on the new 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT which offers higher torque, a smoother ride, and fewer fill-ups visit their Facebook or Twitter.

BRP and Can-Am Spyder are official partners of the NHL and throughout the season are bringing special experiences to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
