Hello, and welcome to a brand new The Royal Half. This blog started in October of 2008 when the concept of the Los Angeles Kings making the playoffs was still a foreign one. Then, in December of 2009, we joined the Bloguin Family. We’ve had an amazing time over the past 3 1/2 years with Bloguin. They’ve always been great to us and along the way we’ve become buddies with the best and brightest in hockey bloggers out there.

But it’s time for the next chapter. Trust me, it hasn’t been an easy decision to leave Bloguin and go back out on my own… but I feel what myself and the rest of #TeamTRH can do with this new site will be worth it in the end.

So… what has changed? Well, we’ve got a brand-new shiny banner designed by Tim from Ironsight Design.
We’ve got some new pages in the main menu bar that will provide you with one-click access to the great All The Kings Men Podcasts or some of our other regular features.
Below the menu bar you’ll find a “Featured Articles” fancy slideshow, in which we’ll feature some classic TRH articles as well as some of the best of the latest work.
And then below the fancy slideshow… all of the TRH blog posts from every member of #TeamTRH, in chronological order.
But please don’t worry… it might look different… but TRH will be just as awesome as ever.
So watch some of Spike’s Vintage Videos at the bottom of the page… and check-in each Monday to see the GIF and Tweet of the Week on the right sidebar.
Now, some links might be broken. Some videos or podcasts might not play. Some images may not load. So it would be really helpful to me if you all could take some time to let me know what is… and what isn’t working for you… including the design and the content.

We are updating the site so that it’s easier for you, the fan of TRH, to read a hockey site that has very little to do with the actual playing of hockey.
Let us know what you think in comments. And make sure you are following myself and all of #TeamTRH as we get closer to the 2013-14 season. It’s going to be another great one.
