TeamTRH Joins the Nation Network

Welcome, newfound Canadian friends! I know the 2013-14 season was a rough one for you. I mean, your year was filled with grit, healthy snacks, water bottle wars, hallway drama, and Ondrej Pavelec.

So it may seem like a foreign concept, but we here at The Royal Half actually enjoy looking back at the last season!

To help you get acquainted with the newest member of the Nation Network, we put together this handy list of some of our favorite posts from the LA Kings Stanley Cup run. …sorry, I should be more specific. I meant the SECOND Cup run in the past three years.

Anyway, here are the goods:

TOP 10 GIFS: Nothing Compares 2 Ben Scrivens
Mainstream Media Mishaps™: 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Database
HEN: Hockey Entertainment Network
Trading Places: Jen Scrivens
The Rise of the Burger King
DOG DAYS: Ranking the Los Angeles Kings’ Dogs
Teemu’s Texting Turmoil

Along with these, we also have many recurring posts on the site as well. So be sure to check out Hockey Hoarders, Freeway Farce, Pacific War Room, Cohen’s Kings Catastrophes, and our amazing All the Kings Men podcast. We also have a couple of other semi-regular podcasts. Hybrid Icing is our long-form look at the sport of hockey and Reel Sports Podcast is where a bunch of funny people sit down and tear apart classic Sports Movies.

All of us on here at #TeamTRH have been longtime fans of the amazing work that Nation Network blogs have done, and we just hope we can keep that tradition going strong. We can’t begin to express how excited we are about the new partnership and can’t wait to see where it leads us! And we want to assure our long-time, Stanley Cup winning readership that nothing is going to change in terms of the content you’ve come to know and love. Except you might see members of #TeamTRH trying to pay for beers at Staples Center using funny looking money with Queens on it.

Until then, you can go back to dreaming about your team drafting Connor McDavid while the Kings attempt to win their third Stanley Cup in four years.
