TRH RECAP 60: Avalanche of Goals

KINGS 6(!!!), AVALANCHE 4

Hope everyone had a fun Winter Break, but now it’s time to return to reality and watch the LA Kings suck the life out of their fans.

I mean, this is a team that needed a Robyn Regehr goal in order to a win a game!

Ugh. I can only imagine how low scoring their first game back from the Olympic break will be.

At least people will be excited to see a real NHL (non-Buffalo Sabres) game, right?

Olympic fever is sweeping the Southland!
And I’m pretty sure this is Jesse Cohen’s private account.

RIVALRY NIGHT!
…feel the excitement!

FIRST PERIOD:

And we’re off!

Regehr snipe on Avalanche - The Royal Half

Regehr scary face Avalanche - The Royal Half

Avs killer, serial killer, one of the two.

*sobbing*

SECOND PERIOD:

Jarret Stoll better be scoring way more than he does for the Kings.

Drew Remenda: LA Kings homer.

Ah, yes, those legendary LA Kings offensive explosions against the Avs.

Probably.

THIRD PERIOD:

Guys, I think the Kings won…

TRH THREE STARS OF THE NIGHT

3. Patrick Roy

Dramatic Roy - The Royal Half

Gremlin Roy - The Royal Half

Sad Roy Face - The Royal Half

2. Dustin Brown Jarret Stoll

Brown Warmup Wrister - The Royal Half

Juuuuust a bit outside.

Stoll Stink Face 2-2 Avalanche Kings - The Royal Half

I choose to believe Stoll is giving his best “WTF face” to Brown for his breakaway attempt.

1. Anze Kopitar

Kopitar 5-4 Kings Avalanche - The Royal Half

Kopitar Soon - The Royal Half

Help us Anze Kopitar, you’re our only hope.
