ARE THE LA KINGS IN THE NEXT ROUND?

I don't care what anyone says about the way hockey is played in the Western Conference… that Los Angeles Kings-Chicago Blackhawks game yesterday was beautiful.

That's right, LA Kings fans… it turns out that the fans of the Chicago Blackhawks love to say how handsome Patrick Sharp is after he scores a goal. And let's be honest…

…they aren't wrong.

A majority of the whole "Patrick Sharp is Handsome" thing probably had something to do with this video:

Patrick Sharp now has 32 points in 27 games against the Los Angeles Kings. That's some serious regicide

So with Game 2 today in Chicago… how do the Los Angeles Kings counteract Patrick Sharp's incredible good looks?

By playing ugly.

And man… that is going to be hard.

Luckily… the LA Kings have a secret weapon.

That's right… the last time that LA Kings forward Dwight King scored a NHL goal… it was in Chicago

FYI, Dwight King's last goal was 70 days ago.
Or 2 months and 9 days ago if you aren't good with math.

The LA Kings really need Dwight King to step up his game. Otherwise they might have to increase their luck by returning to the goal scoring celebration that they made famous in Chicago two years ago.

Now that's a wrap-around.

If the LA Kings aren't able to counteract Patrick Sharp's sexiness with ugly play… I'm sure a bunch of LA Kings fans have the answer for how their favorite team can compete with the Blackhawks…
