Trying out a new feature here at The Royal Half. Mainly because a cool fan of the blog keeps sending me awesome LA Kings related video clips. First off… the intro from the LA Kings appearance on Hockey Night (or at least Afternoon) in Canada from Saturday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Then… a really ill-timed feature story on how Mike Richards is adapting to Los Angeles.

I love that one day Mike Richards’ grandchildren will be able to watch this
and see that awful thing on Mike Richards’ lip.

Drew Doughty takes a nasty hit-from-behind along the boards and Matt Greene gets really emotional about it near the end of this clip.

But it turns out… that hit on Doughty wasn’t what Matt Greene was upset about.

Yeah, Matt… we get it. Drew Doughty is fine. And you are heartless.

And finally… not LA Kings related… but Calfornia related at least.

I’m more concerned that Curtis Brown is doing hockey analysis.

Thanks to HarleyMae for posting these videos.
