NOOOOOO-vember!

Well, November is upon us. Or as I like to call it… the month when the Los Angeles Kings start growing mustaches and play like complete shit. Don’t believe me?

2010-2011
5-7

2009-2010
7-6

2008-2009
7-4-2

2007-2008
4-6-1

2006-2007
5-6-2

Sure, 2008-2009 was alright, but a lot of good finishing 26th overall did that season.

Of course, all the Los Angeles Kings are growing mustaches for a great reason. But that still means they look creepy with them.

Maybe this year Drew Doughty can pay someone to grow a mustache for him.

I heard this year at Tip-A-King Brad Richardson is actually charging for mustache rides.

It saddens me that this season San Jose gets to experience the
solid leadership and face-off wins of the Handzus mustache.

Every LA Kings player wants to get involved with growing a mustache for charity. And it seems that some are going to have more time than others to grow one. Because I’m sure when Dean Lombardi traded Colten Teubert, a 1st and 3rd round pick for DustinPenner… it was to shore up that glaring hole at 3rd line left wing.

No wonder why Dustin Penner always looks like he’s skating with a weight on his back.
It’s actually on his face.

I’ve also heard rumors that Coach Terry Murray is joining in on the mustache growing. But it’s mainly because he has finally figured out how to keep the opposition from seeing his trademark smile.

Check out the boys over at The Pensblog and contribute to their Movember. If you are doing a Movember yourself or know a great person or hockey blog that is doing one, let us know or put the info in the comments and we’ll promote the heck out of it.
